Privately Operated Reference Site
This site is privately operated and has no government endorsement or affiliation. It does not issue or execute warrants and does not maintain an official Minnesota warrant database. It explains how to reach District Court and county Sheriff’s Office channels and how public court case access differs from the BCA’s restricted criminal-justice warrant data.
Accuracy of Information
Agency contact details and procedures can change. We work to keep this reference accurate, but cannot promise that every detail is current. Before traveling, filing a request, or paying a fee, confirm instructions with the court or agency responsible for the record.
Warrant Status Changes - Verify Before You Rely
Warrant and case information may change as a court or agency updates its record. A result that shows no warrant is not proof that none exists: Minnesota has no public statewide name search of all active warrants, and MCRO is a court-case portal rather than an active-warrant index. Online case information may also be limited by public-access rules. Confirm the court file with County Court Administration and ask the relevant Sheriff’s Office or other law-enforcement agency about its current status information.
Use an online result only as a starting point. The court maintains its case record; the Sheriff’s Office or another authorized agency may have the current execution-status information.
Verify With the Official Source
This site is not an official court or law-enforcement record. For a case-file question, contact the District Court’s County Court Administration. For current execution status, contact the county Sheriff’s Office or other agency handling the warrant. MCRO may show public case details, but it does not provide a statewide active-warrant search. A public-data request to BCA or a county agency is subject to the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act and the record’s classification; it does not guarantee access to restricted warrant information.
Not Legal Advice
The site is not legal advice and cannot explain how a particular warrant applies to you. For advice about a Minnesota warrant, surrender, bond, or court appearance, consult a Minnesota attorney.
Third-Party Search Tools
Some pages display search tools operated by outside companies. We do not control their results, fees, or data handling. Those results may be incomplete, stale, or incorrectly matched, and the FCRA restrictions above apply to them as well.
Outbound Links
Links may lead to Minnesota Judicial Branch resources, county Sheriff’s Office sites, government agencies, or other services. We do not control or guarantee the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites.
No Records on This Site
This site does not host warrants, lists of active warrants, court files, or official case records. Those remain with the relevant court and government agencies. Use MCRO for public case information where available, then contact the issuing court or responsible law-enforcement agency to verify a specific record.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you tell me if there is a warrant for me?
No. This site has no access to a public statewide active-warrant search. Start with the Minnesota warrant search guide for public case-record options and contact the relevant county office through the county directory for official routing.
Does a clear result mean I have no warrant?
No. Minnesota has no public statewide active-warrant name search, and MCRO does not list every active warrant. Ask County Court Administration about the court file and the appropriate law-enforcement agency about current status.
Who can clear or recall a warrant?
The issuing District Court controls its order. A Minnesota attorney can discuss the case-specific process and whether to ask the court about an appearance, bond, modification, or recall.
