Why We Built This Site
Minnesota uses one District Court system across ten judicial districts. County Court Administration maintains the court file, while the Sheriff’s Office and other authorized peace officers carry out warrants and update law-enforcement records. These records do not collapse into one public statewide name search. Minnesota Court Records Online (MCRO) gives public access to many court case records, but it is not an index of every active warrant. The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) maintains restricted criminal-justice network access to warrant data for authorized users; that system is not a public self-service search. A court file, a public online case result, and an agency’s current warrant status can therefore answer different questions. This hub describes those boundaries and directs readers to the correct county or court channel for an official answer.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not part of Minnesota’s courts, the BCA, a Sheriff’s Office, or another government agency. We cannot:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every linked procedure or contact detail is current
For the court record, contact the relevant County Court Administration. For execution or current law-enforcement status, contact the Sheriff’s Office or other agency identified by the court. MCRO is a public case-record service, and restricted BCA warrant data is available only to authorized criminal-justice users.
Search Partners
Some pages display search tools supplied by outside providers. Those providers set their own terms, prices, and data practices. A result from an outside tool is not an official Minnesota warrant check, and we do not control its contents or availability. Review the provider’s terms before submitting information.
